Basil ERP — Refund Policy

1. No Refunds on Subscription Fees

Once you have paid for a Basil subscription, the service is active until the end of your billing period (monthly or annual). We do not offer refunds for subscription fees once payment has been successfully processed.

This policy applies to all subscription plans and billing cycles. By subscribing, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this no-refund policy.

2. Plan Upgrades

When you upgrade to a higher plan, the upgrade takes effect immediately. You will be charged only the prorated difference between your current plan and the new plan for the remainder of your current billing period.

For example: If you are on a monthly plan and upgrade mid-cycle, you pay only the difference for the remaining days. At the start of your next billing cycle, you will be charged the full price of the new plan.

Plan upgrades are processed through the same payment methods available on the platform (Razorpay for India, Stripe for EU). The prorated amount will be displayed before you confirm the upgrade.

3. Plan Downgrades

If you downgrade to a lower plan, the change will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refund or credit is provided for the unused portion of your current plan. You will continue to have access to your current plan's features until the period ends.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@basil.ind.in. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No pro-rated refunds are provided for the unused portion of a subscription period.

5. Failed or Disputed Payments

If a payment fails (e.g., insufficient funds, card declined), we will retry according to our payment processor's policies. Your subscription may be suspended until payment is successfully completed.

If you dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account until the dispute is resolved. Chargebacks may result in immediate account termination.

6. Exceptions

In rare cases, we may consider a refund or credit at our sole discretion—for example, in the event of a technical error that resulted in duplicate charges, or where required by applicable law. To request an exception, contact us at support@basil.ind.in with your account details and a clear explanation.
